Dear Luke,

You are at such a fun age right now! I love that you love to read books. It is so adorable when you bring a book to me and want me to read it to you. I love it when you sit on the floor and "read" to yourself. Adorable! You love to learn and are curious about everything! Your little jibber jabbers all day long are like music to my ears. You have been such a snuggler lately. You are normally very independent but lately you will give me kisses for no reason or let me just snuggle with you on the couch while we're watching Mickey Mouse. Even dad gets loves from you and he loves it just as much as I do. Right now you love to be with Dad. you just follow him around the house and are so interested in what he's doing. You're his little shadow. You're such a good boy! You are happy almost all the time. I don't know how I got so lucky to be your mom.

I know that you really don't have any idea how much is going on in your life right now. Mommy's belly is getting bigger and bigger and I don't think you've noticed at all. Even though I've tried to teach you on several occasions that your little brother is the cause of my ever growing belly. I worry about you all the time. In fact I haven't stopped worrying about you since the day you were born. Actually since the day I found out I was pregnant with you. When I saw you for the first time I knew I'd do anything for you. Anything. I worried about whether or not you were eating enough. If you were getting enough sleep. I would often sit and watch you when we first brought you home after I'd put you to bed just to make sure you were still breathing. Now my worries for you are your molars that are coming in. It looks so painful and I know it is. But you handle it like a champ. I worry about the kinds of foods you eat. I want to make sure you eat healthy. Thank you for being a champ eater lately. You have eaten whatever I've given you. Thanks bud!
My greatest worry for you is your new brother coming. For 16 months it's just been the three of us. Most of the time it's just you and me. I can hardly wait to meet your little brother but know that I'll always cherish this one on one time with you. I've loved every minute! It's going to be so fun to watch you with your little brother though. I hope you love each other. I hope you will be great friends. I hope you take to him right away. You have so many people that love you and who will be there for you always! Just know I love you too and that you'll always be my baby boy!

Love,
Mama

Love the letters!! It so touching and I think it gives us "watchers" a clearer picture of how much love you guys have in that home. How wonderful your life is and how blessed you are. He is going to be such a great big brother! He is looking more and more like Trent, is that just me?!

I was just going to post the same thing Kelsey said, HOLY COW Luke looks so much like Trent!

You are such a lovely mom and it is so sweet how much you love your boys! I'm sure they will appreciate these beautiful letters in the future!

How is it that you live so close but we haven't gotten together in forever!
